Berkshire-owned lender sued by CFPB over ‘unaffordable’ loans

The Client Monetary Safety Bureau sued Vanderbilt Mortgage & Finance Inc. in US District Courtroom for the Japanese District of Tennessee, claiming the agency’s lending course of “ignored clear and apparent pink flags that sure customers wouldn’t have the ability to repay their loans in line with their phrases,” in line with the grievance.
