In questioning why the LA wildfires had worse outcomes than say these in Wisconsin, Mr. Bruce Corridor makes this assertion.
This is likely to be true right now, however over time it isn’t. As soon as once more, referring to information, I look at the PDSI for California Division 6 (LA), and Wisconsin Division 8 (Madison).

So, since about…1968, or so, Madison has been drier than LA…
