NerdWallet stated on Saturday that it didn’t file for chapter, saying a fraudulent submitting appeared on an digital public entry service for U.S. federal court docket paperwork.

“NerdWallet didn’t file for chapter. It is a fraudulent submitting and we’re actively investigating the scenario,” the corporate stated in an announcement.

The submitting that appeared earlier on Saturday was signed by Robert Johnson and listed an deal with in Buffalo, New York.
