The US Supreme Court docket has upheld restrictions on the usage of firearms by people topic to home violence restraining orders, in a carefully watched case that has weighed in on the stability between gun rights and public security.
In an 8-1 choice, the excessive court docket’s majority on Friday argued that barring people who threaten others’ security from protecting firearms doesn’t violate the US structure’s Second Modification, which protects the correct to bear arms.
